Making a donation

Making a donation to The Rotary Club of Bristol Breakfast Trust Fund

All sponsorship money donated will go to our headline charity and other Rotary charities.

Donations can be made via our Virgin Money Giving Account or paid direct to our Trust Fund Account by cheque or bank transfer.   Donors are encouraged to gift aid their donation as this will enhance their donation by 25%.

Team Captains are asked to motivate their team members to raise as much money as possible and there are prizes for the most money raised.

Donations via Virgin Money Giving

This is the simplest way to make donations. Donors can nominate a sum of money, pay by debit or credit card and claim gift aid thereon as appropriate.

The Virgin Money Giving system asks donors to confirm that they are UK taxpayers and whether they wish Virgin to claim gift aid on their donation. Virgin then pass the donation to our Trust Fund together with the gift aid claimed.

There are two ways to make donations, as a Team Member or as an Individual:

1. Team Captains can set up their own team's page within our Dragon Boat Festival Virgin Money Giving site which will pull together all monies raised by their team. To set up a team page on Virgin Money Giving click on this link, choose Organised Event, find Bristol Breakfast's Dragon Boat Festival 2018 event on 10th June, complete questions, register and set up your team page and access address. Detailed instructions will be sent to Team Captains

2. Team Members can donate to their own team page once it has been set up by going to the link below.  If your Team logo isn't shown you should get your team page access address from your Team Captain.

3. Individual donors can donate via Virgin Money Giving using a debit or credit card. Click on the Virgin Giving box below.  Individuals not using a team page should nominate the team they are supporting by putting the team name in the comments box on the Donations page.

Donations by cheque or bank transfer

Team Captains will be sent details together with a Gift Aid Form to co-ordinate their team giving.

Independent donors can leave their contact details on the Contact Us page in this website and we will be pleased to help.

We promise to respect the confidentiality of any personal data that you share with us and as required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) a copy of our Privacy Notice is provided as a separate page on this website.
